Here is a new photomontage piece, “The Butterfly Effect,” I created with the mobile photography apps Juxtaposer, Pixlromatic, and PicFX. The elements for this image are all from photographs I shot with my iPhone in recent years, combined in Juxtaposer and texturized in Pixlromatic and PicFX. You can read my review of Juxtaposer in my last post here.

Progress. Before and after the addition of first layer of cold wax. #abstractart #abstractpainting #coldwax #makersgonnamake #artislife #artistsoninstagramStarted a new abstract oil painting this eve. Definitely influenced by all the colors surrounding me here in the woods. I haven’t painted in awhile and it feels good to be back at it. #abstractart #makersgonnamake #artistsoninstagramBeen away from IG for a spell. Just been spending time losing myself in the woods. Today I picked these wildflowers from our “front yard” and put them in an old canning jar. #wildflowers #littlecabininthewoods #cabinlife #natureFinishing up another spoon. Adding some turquoise and chrysocolla inlay then more sanding and oil. #woodcarving #woodworking #makersgonnamake #woodenspoon
